What are we teaching our kids about love?

Self-care doesn’t mean anything fancy. It can look like:
Eating a real meal before sweets
Going to bed on time
Taking a breath before reacting
Saying no when you’re already stretched thin
That isn’t selfish — it’s foundational.

“Valentine’s Day isn’t just about treats. It’s about taking care of ourselves and each other.”
When kids see that love includes self-care, they learn how to listen to their bodies, regulate their emotions, and live with intention — lessons that last far beyond a holiday.
