Warm “Clear-Out” Soup

Warm soup.

This time of year, kids don’t always feel 100%. Maybe they’re a little off. Low appetite. Slight congestion. Energy comes and goes. This is where most families either overthink meals…
or give up on them altogether.

A basic soup like this gives the body what it actually needs without making it a whole production.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken

  • 6 cups chicken broth

  • 2 carrots, sliced

  • 2 celery stalks, chopped

  • ½ onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Pinch of sea salt + pepper

Steps

  1. Heat olive oil in a pot

  2. Add onion, garlic, carrots, celery. Cook 3–4 minutes

  3. Add broth and bring to a simmer

  4. Add chicken

  5. Simmer 10–15 minutes

  6. Season and serve
