Watermelon Hydration Slush

A refreshing watermelon slushie.

This is one of the easiest ways to give kids something cold, refreshing, and naturally sweet without turning it into a sugar overload. It works great after school, after sports, or on warmer afternoons.

Ingredients

  • 2–3 cups fresh watermelon (cubed, seeds removed)

  • Juice of ½ lime

  • 1 cup ice

  • Small pinch of sea salt

  • Optional: a few fresh mint leaves

Steps

  • Add all ingredients to a blender

  • Blend until smooth and slushy

  • Taste and adjust lime if needed

  • Serve immediately
