The Fruit Fast

Minimalist fruit clock illustration representing a simple weekly reset focused on nourishment and clarity.

This isn’t about rules or restrictions. It’s just a simple way to reset for the week.

A fruit fast is exactly what it sounds like: for one day, you keep things light and easy by focusing on fruit, hydration, and a few supportive add-ins.

Here’s what that day looks like.

The fast starts after your last meal on Sunday evening and lasts 24 hours. When Monday begins, start with water and keep sipping throughout the day.

When you feel hungry, eat fruit. There’s no schedule to follow — just check in every couple of hours and eat when your body asks for it. No measuring. No counting. Just simple, easy food.

To feel steady and supported, you can include:

  • Collagen mixed into coffee, tea, or a shake

  • Electrolytes during the day

  • One protein shake with water if needed

When the day is done, ease back into dinner with lots of vegetables and solid protein. Think simple and nourishing, not heavy.

That’s it.

This kind of reset isn’t about doing things perfectly. It’s about creating a little breathing room for your body — and starting the week feeling lighter and more clear.

Sometimes simple really is enough.
